Almost a week after the Jan. 17 blizzard in St. John's, photographer Ritche Perez set out for an evening walk with his camera. All he could hear was the sound of his boots crunching in the snow. He described a feeling of calmness and his photos reflect that sense of peace. The photo series below shows his perspective, walking from a near-empty Georgestown to downtown.
